    K-2SO, one of the many fussy droids in the Star Wars universe, met an untimely end in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story , along with pretty much every other character. But we may not have seen the last of him. There's a Rogue One prequel series headed to Disney+, and according to Alan Tudyk , the actor who performed motion capture and voice work for K-2, the droid might pop up in some capacity.

    Actor Alan Tudyk won't confirm or deny if he'll reprise his role as robot K-2SO in the new Rogue One prequel television series set to premiere on the Disney Plus streaming service. K-2SO first appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as a former Imperial security droid reprogrammed to work for the Rebel Alliance. In Rogue One , K-2SO is the co-pilot and companion of Cassian Andor, as portrayed by Diego Luna.
